Default True Opinions on Hunting Shows!

How do you guys feel about the hunting shows that are on television now? Are they serving the purpose that they were designed to do which is to spread knowledge and inform people about hunting or are they now just advertising tools where high profiled hunters promote products and boast about kills?

I watch them just because it seems to cure my case of Buck Fever. I really think they are on just to advertise products.

Jim Shockey,Eastman's, Best of the West, Realtree road trips, Primo's truth,Bowhunter, are all good and informational

Get'n Close ( I want to throw the remote thru the TV everytime I hear B.B.D.), Where in the world is Colorado Buck (He's a goon), Jackie Bushman (too much "whitetail"), McMillian River ( not worth the time wasted typing), Most often when they constantly go on and on about their sponsors. I turn it.

Some of the older style shows are great, but I'm like elk, when they start rambling about the sponsors I turn the channel.

hmmm.....i do not get where you get PETA...anyway. Most shows i think are just funny because the acting is horrible. There are a few that i like.....but just a few
