Maybe after Hunsucker finishes college we could all pool our cash together and buy a giant place in Iowa like those whackos in TX and use it as a religious write off where we worship deer. Those compounds are huge, could you imagine the QDM set up we could get going in there?

I'm in for a $1,000 down payment on hunting land in Iowa. Get about 20 other members and we can buy some bigtime land with about $20,000 upfront, then payments each month that would put us at maybe $50 a month each or $1,500 total. Very affordable.
Here is 160 acres in Iowa for 280 G's.....

I'm serious PABuckbuster12(PBB). I would love to take a month off work and hunt with people from this forum for a couple of weeks in Iowa, then a couple of weeks in my home state of VA. I would pay 1G upfront, and around 100 a month to be able to hunt just two weeks a year in Iowa. Maybe we should think about this before next year.

Its really not that hard. I would be up for it too. Its an easy contract to be drawn, find the land. Get meetings together for the members, and start managing the land. I do it now with land in NY and MD with my father and Brother. Trouble is going to be finding a few good guys who want them same thing. Although not impossible but it might be hard. I would truley consider investing in a nice piece of property out there. Key is for us who dont live near there to get a guy invested who does live close to keep close tabs on it when we cant be there. Very important for land management of trophy deer. Dont know how the poaching is out there, but in PA, NY, and somewhat in MD its aweful. Send me a PM lets chat.

If you shoot any wild deer and get it on tv you should be idolized. Should you be part of a winning team on, oh say, the Campbell's Challenge... you should be worshipped as a god/goddess of hunting.
Thank you, have a nice day.

I think Quick had a good quote about the right spot and Gomer Pyle a few weeks back.
Not too many TV hunting Gods burning up $4/gal. gas to come to NC to film.......and EVERY "renowned" TV hunter (and every other medium
)lives ..........where?It's not a snub. Some of them, I'm sure, are good at what they do. But let's face it......
.................nevermind
.(If you'll go back through this thread.....every other poster said the same thing I did.....in his/her own way. So don't blame the messenger for the message)
