Buying a used bow?

Buying a used bow?
This forum is certainly the bestdespite the recent, off-season slump in thoughtful posting.
However....... if you are in the market for a used bow then you should look on Archerytalk.com. The sheer volume of used bows being offered is staggering. There are usually over 100 posts per day in the 'Hunting Bow' section alone. Prices are low - if you are willing to look. I just bought an excellent condition2007 Guradian for a buddy for $350 - hence no man law requirement to post pic.
I don't even read any of the bowhunting posts onAT but the classifieds are supported by alarger population frantically upgrading to next year's gear.

I agree with all of the above. I've bought and sold bows and accessories over there since I started shooting.
It's amazing how honest everyone is over there. I've never had the first issue with a purchase or a sell.

There classifieds are great and just follow a few precautions to be safe. The huge majority are honest guys, but a rip off can happen, better safe than sorry. Last year I was the top rated seller on AT, and still stay in contact with many, many members.
Enjoy the bargains on their classifieds!

GREAT DEALS to be had. There's a couple of Trykons over there that are going for UNDER $300!!! That's a $700+ bow new, selling for that bargain price. And this fall, there will be Vectrix's selling in the $350 range. Not real sure of the rest of the deals, but I have seen a couple Allegiance's going in the $400 range which also seems pretty reasonable. But I'd still have to pay $150 or so for my Barnsdale Limbs to make myself feel more secure about an Allegiance.

I've had a ton of different deals over there. I've bought and sold many accessories. It really is a great tool, I sell more over than than Ebay now. Ebay prices just can't compete with AT's prices.
