buckeye, does the one you have have the long fibers? The reason I ask, it's the brightest sight I've found, brighter than Spott Hogg and all others I looked at an compared it too. Everyone that sees mine says it by far brighter than theirs, several manuf and models.

I think they make a good sight, I just don't think they make a sight that has the most features for the money. They are bright, but for $10-$15 you can add top of the line plastic protected/extended aftermarket fibers that are better quality and as bright or brighterto any sight out there. Their micro tune feature is OK I guess, but it's not individual micro tune pins, just a gang adjustment and that just doesn't seem like it's worth the $$$ that it costs compared to it's competition. I only make a gang adjustment on a bow maybe once a year, and when you have laser etched marks ona sight with no micro tune, or comparably priced sightsthat have micro tune individual pins..........it just doesn't make sense.

I will say the fit/finish and dipping on the Viper's is great though, they do a great job there.

I have a new hunting bow on the way (will post a review when it's here finally [8D]) and when it gets here I will likely be adding a wrapped Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg-It with a green .029 on top, and yellow/green .019's from there down.

Swift Arrow...Sorry!!! I thought these sights looked pretty good so I wanted imput.
Well they have to ship them to somewhere in the states then the company in alberta need to pick it up then they have to ship it to Manitoba...[&o] And plus they are still on backorder...[&o] So the proshop ordered them from another company in the states to see if they had any in stock. hopefully they will.

Matt, the Spott Hogg your refering too, it's has no more or less adjustments than the Viper MT does it? I mean I don't recall seeing any micro adjust for individual pins on them and they are far more expenisive than the Viper line.

I guess that's why, like bows there are indivual taste because I looked at the Spott Hogg line which would have been my choice until I found the Viper line, $ for $ I feel the Viper is superior, I see where you and Scott differ. I don't care for the angle of the pins on the Hoggs. I know GMMAT's Spott Hogg wasn't nearly as bright as my Viper thusly why he sold the Spott Hogg and bought a Viper MT.

Anyway, The Spott Hogg equiv is well over $200 isn't it? The Top Viper MT is around $149.00 straight from Viper. I don't see where that doesn't make sense. ?

The hogg is 100% micro adjustable... Gang and individual pins. It is $169.99 without the Hogg wrap.

I also do not care for the angled pins on the Hogg.... That is why I no longer use one and currently shoot the Copper John Competition 4 pin. It is also 100% micro adjustable at $159.99

Ah, I was looking at the ones in Cabelas' top line was $199.99 and on Bowtech's webpage. $209 http://www.bowtechproshop.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi?CMD=011&PROD=1153932114&PNAME=S pot-Hogg+Hoggit

I don't see how they are 100%, I guess I'm not familair with them that way, I didn't think Matt / PA's was. I never considered pin microadjustability. I guess I never needed it.

The Viper Pro 2000 (non microadjust) is only around $119

On the back side of the sight housing at the base of each pin are two small screws to micro adjust each individual pin. Back one out slightly and snug the other... Pretty nice and effective system.

As for the price I looked at Lancasterarchery.com.

The Spot Hogg's are micro adjust pin by pin, as well as gang adjustments, and micro adjust 2nd and 3rd axis. Nothing else on the market has the amount of micro adjustment they do. The Spot Hogg Hogg-It runs $169 at lancaster and the Viper is $154. The only advantage to the Predator IMHO is the options for camo and their bubble is larger and easier to see with your peripheral vision. Spot Hogg also sells the Real Deal sight for $119 that still includes micro adust pins, and a worm drive micro adjust (same system Viper sells on their $150 sight) gang adjustment. Thing is though, if you don't like the angled pins they definitely aren't a good fit. They don't bother me a bit though, I just wish their bubble was bigger.
