RE: Viper sights
I think they make a good sight, I just don't think they make a sight that has the most features for the money. They are bright, but for $10-$15 you can add top of the line plastic protected/extended aftermarket fibers that are better quality and as bright or brighterto any sight out there. Their micro tune feature is OK I guess, but it's not individual micro tune pins, just a gang adjustment and that just doesn't seem like it's worth the $$$ that it costs compared to it's competition. I only make a gang adjustment on a bow maybe once a year, and when you have laser etched marks ona sight with no micro tune, or comparably priced sightsthat have micro tune individual pins..........it just doesn't make sense.
I will say the fit/finish and dipping on the Viper's is great though, they do a great job there.
I have a new hunting bow on the way (will post a review when it's here finally [8D]) and when it gets here I will likely be adding a wrapped Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg-It with a green .029 on top, and yellow/green .019's from there down.
