Ok heres mine.
Carry one of those longish black rubber flat tarp straps in your back or fanny pack.........the kind with the silver S hooks.
If you find yourself with the perfect tree for a stand but you don't have any backcover bust out your trusty long tarp strap. It will wrap around most climbable trees snugly 2 or 3 times and then hook the ends together.
The flat rubber straps under tension will hold trimmed leafy or cedar branches securely to teh tree trunk but allow them to drape in any direction your need for instant outline breaking cover behind you.
The couple times around the tree with the strap provides the leverage necessary to hold even heavier branches on any angle you need. And because they are flexible all you need to do is pull them away, tuck the branches down in and your good to go.
And that's your 4/11 Tip from the Hood.
