I am new here, but have been reading post for the last month. What do you guys think about Parker Bows? I am new to bow hunting and have an old PSE that I used last year when I got my doe, but I now want a new high end bow. Any suggestions???

THEY ARE GREAT BOWS, GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, LIFETIME WARRANTY...THERE NEW STUFF FOR THIS YEAR LOOKS TO BE ON PAR WITH THE BEST OUT THERE.....SHOOT AS MANY BOWS AS YOU CAN AND THEN DECIDE ON A BOW...ALL BRANDS HAVE GOOD BOWS OUT THESE DAYS. I REALLY LIKE THE DESIGN OF THE BLACKHAWK FROM PARKER, BUT I HAVEN'T SHOT IT.

I bought my son the Parker hunter mag in 2005, it is a great bow, he has killed deer with it. It did come apart once at a 3d shoot, the cam module set screw sheared off letting the bow come apart. Other that the shop where i bought it, Parker has GREAT customer service, they fixed everything no questions ask.

I don't think you can go wrong with a parker. My last 6 bucks and many does can attest to that. I am shooting the same UL31 that I bought 6 years ago. Never had any problems to speak off. I am sure the new models are smoother and faster. I have never had to use the warranty or their service department, but I hear they are great to deal with. The only complaint I have with mine is the large wood grip (makes it easy to torque with bad form) and from what I gather from looking at the new models they have slimmed the grip down quite a bit. I bought mine to save money at the time (married with children kept me from keeping up with the Jones's). Good quality at a good price. Bottom line shoot as many bows as you can, don't get hung up on speed to much, listen to your gut and go with what feels best. Nobody in a pro-shop, or from the forum will be up in that tree with you. Just you and your choice. Good luck on your search for a bow.
And by the way welcome to the forums.
