I'm sure I have nothing to offer in the way of knowledge to a acne age know it all like yourself.

Have a great one I'm done ,Jim
I'm sick ofattitudes too...ones like these that cut down the younger folks around here for their age and "assumed" lack of experience. Just because he is younger than you, doesn't mean he has no experience hunting turkeys and no reason to be confident with his tactics. Earlier in the thread he said he has been hunting turkeys for 10 years. Thatis a fairly decent bit of experience.

Generally speaking, some of the older folks could maybe stand to learn something from a relatively young hunter. Older perspectives are not always better or more valid perspectives. Just as a cocky young "kid" withattitude can be annoying so can a cantankerous old curmudgeon with attitude. And it's not only the young folks here who have cocky "know-it-all" attitudes.

BTW,a person has about the same control over their acne as they do over their age spots and arthritis knuckles.

Good luck! The first turkey I shot with my bow was at 32.

So you should fling at 40, push the limits GERM.

Agreed. Instead of watching daily soap operas, I come here.

And now that it is the 21st century, I can do that, because my dishwasher does the dishes for me.;)

lmao One season under your belt and you're the authority on bowhunting turkeys?
Unwarranted statement. I asked you a pretty simple question, Dan. Go back and read it, again. If you don't see that there is or disagree that there is a different approach to gun hunting turkeys and bowhunting turkeys that MANY hunters employ.....don't blame me.

Tell me Jeff, aside from shot placement, what is the big difference between calling a turkey into a shotgun setup out of a blind and calling a turkey into a bow setup out of a blind?
40-50 yds?

And when were we EVER comparing the two (gun hunting v. bow hunting. This thread fromt he get-go was ALL about bowhunting.

I'll concede it was unwarranted. ;)

But, honestly... Hunting out of a blind with a shotgun or with a bow... Tell me, how is it different as far as calling tactic are concerned? Explain it to me, because I'm obviously not seeing it.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying educate me.
