My Wal-mart scent-blocker plus gloves work great on mosquitoes. They aren' t too heavy for early season. They are a little light for the real cold. I would be wary of the latex gloves. They often have a definite unnatural scent and they will make your hands sweat like crazy, and we all know what sweating does for hunting whitetails.

Yeah I hear ya! I tried that latex glove under cloth gloves, my hands were like prunes from the sweat! Not to mention my hands smelled, not good! I might try the scent blocker style from wal-mart....hmmm...curious?

yeah they will make um sweat but when the no see ums are bad its a last resort . last year I started useing a thermocell and it works very well but you asked about gloves and that was the only thing that has worked for me in the past . sometimes the skeeters are so thick down here you dont even want to go outside , that was before I got a thermocell
