Default gloves?

What do all you cold weather guys wear for gloves? Hovered in the low 20's this morning in NY[]and my hands were FREEZING!! Everything else was good and warm with my layering etc..., but dang I thought my fingers were going to fall off. Especially when I was hanging onto my bow for 10 minutes or so while the buck that came in was screwing around in front of me before he decided to head elsewhere. Right now I just wear under armour gloves and stick them in my pockets. Wasn't cutting it today though... or maybe I'm just getting old [8D].

I wear a light weight pair of gloves just like you do. But if its going to be cold I put on a pair of Fleece Glomitts. Similer to these that way I can fold them back when I'm ready to shoot. There a lifesaver on those cold windy days. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0021066920007a&type=product&cm Cat=searchFeat&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=mitten&N=4887&N tk=Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Nt t=mitten&noImage=0

I always just wear light gloves regardless of how cold it is. Get yourself one of those hand mitts that straps aroundyour waist and stick with the light gloves. I've been using one for a long time. They work great.

buy a pair of wool gloves. you can get a cheap pair from walmart or you can get them through the sportmans guide catalog, they are the military glove liners.you can also find them at a military surplus store. they work really good and they will keep your hands warm if they get wet also.one thingbto remember though, if your wearing wool gloves don't wipe them across your mouth unless you want a mouthful of fiber. made that mistake only once.
