You didn't screw up. I don't know why you consider it a piece of history, there were much better bows made in that time period.

I have one sitting here right now I'll give you for the price of shipping. Wife bought it for $5 at a garage sale for some reason last year and I'll never shoot it. 60 lbs. and 30" draw, needs new string..............if somebody can use it they can have it for the cost of shipping.
