i was thinking of getting me a dozen of these for 3d/hunting.as far as i can tell on goldtips website they are the same as the xt' s but they are straighter and have more consistancy in their weights.that being said are they as durable as the xt' s for hunting applications.thanks.

3D dad, I suspect they' re the same shafts as the XTs, just hand picked for the better qualities. Straightness, spine, & weight. I' ve heard they are good arrows.

I use the xt' s for both hunting and 3d.
So far they have done a great job for me.I know I cant tell the difference in my shooting from the xt' s to the 3d pro they are that closely matched it is not funny.

thanks for the replies.i currently use the xt' s and i was looking to " upgrade" my shafts.in the past if i bought a dozen xt' s i would usually get 2 flyers.was just wondering if they were worth the extra $25.00.thanks again

i would hate to pick up the one of the flyers by accident and go hunting. just a thought

i always sort my shafts well before hunting season and only my six best goes to the woods with me.
