Default Chills run down your spine

Chills run down my spine during all hunting situations...However...

During this time of year I start to think about what is going to happen in the next month...I have a Quebec Bear hunt on May 24th but my mind is on my Turkey hunt in late April..

Here in Michigan, when I get to my spot on April 24th....the woods is finally coming alive..the leaves are blooming and the animals are on point...

As I settle in... in late April for turkeys....the sound of a cow moo'ing off in the distance, a rooster chicken will caww at sun up, a rooster pheasant will make its sound, and the robins and red -winged blue birds will have found their wayback to Michigan...its these sounds that bring chills and make me appreciate the american heritege of hunting...and then I'll hammer that reed and box call...yelp yelp yelp yelp.....gobble gobble gobble gobble.....I have bad hunting sickness...sometimes I look at my post and think I'm a freak....and then I read yours and realize...lol

God bless my wife for letting me hunt.

If I get the deer hunting fever too soon, I just go a kill a hog, 365 days a year, perfect practice. Me I can't wait for bear hunting around here, which starts the same time deer season does.
