Default Someone run a spine for me please?

I need someone with one of those fancy programs to run an arrow spine for me. The question really is, which one of two tips would be a better match for the spine on my bow. Here are the specs:

Bow: Bowtech Tomkat, 61# draw, 28" DL, single cam. Don't know if it matters but it is 32ATA with 8" brace.

Arrow: Easton Epic, factory nock and insert, w/ 3 - 2" blazers. Shaft length is 26.375, or 26.75 to the bottom of the nock.

Heads: I have both 100's and 125's and can shoot either just dependding on which matches the spine the best.

Anyone who can run this for me,I would appreciate it.

Assuming you are using 400 shafts and a d-loop,the 125's will be slightly better but not enough that I would worry with.

If not using a d-loop,I would advise sticking with the 100's.

Since you have both,I would try both and see which works best.

Thanks for running it for me TFOX. However though, I got impatient and downloaded the trail version, and ran it myself. I still have questions though, because I am really new to this aspect of shooting. I gave you some bum information, and not sure how much it affects things, ATA is 32.5, not 32, and Brace is 8.5, not 8.

When I ran the numbers it was showing that my spine was pretty heavy, like a .4292, when I needed a 400 or something like that. To get it where it was saying no change necessary I was having to bring tip weight all the way up to 175. Now I do have some muzzy 50 grain brass inserts, but the shop that cut my arrows superglued in the factory inserts. I know I can get them out using heat and acetone, (being VERY careful) but is it worth risking the damage to the shaftsto do so? I don't mind the trajectory changing and going with a high FOC setup in the least, but don't know if jumping through the hoops is worth it.

It seems to be shooting okay as is, but I am kind of a perfectionist. What are your thoughts on it?

I prefer Archers Advantage and it looks like you are using OT2,I also have that program but I don't care for it.

My program shows you stiff with the 400's but well within acceptable spine ranges for hunting. The .429 is a lighter spine, not a heavier spine so the numbers I got and you got are very close.

The brace and a-a won't affect anything.

Okay, thanks TFOX. I will stick with what I've got then. I have it partially tuned for them anyways. I have done bareshaft and walkback, it is time to start broadhead tuning now.

In OT2 if you do not check the Hunting box in the spine match tab then most huntingarrows will show too stiff.

Ahhh.... Okay Bruce, I will try that also. I'm sure I didn't click that. I saw it but didn't worry about it. I did click 4 blade broadhead though.

I went ahead and put those 50 grain Muzzy inserts into my CX Eliminator shafts last night. With a 100 grain broadhead it will get them up to the same total arrow weight as the Epics with a 125 grain head. Both will come out about 410 grains on a 27 inch shaft.
