Anyone else have this happen?

I have had it happen hunting around home. With all of the backround noise from the neighborhood, I don't think they heard the shot. And as fast as todays bows are, the arrow zips right thru them. They don't even feel it if it doesn't hit a bone or major muscle. They just go on until the run out of blood and tip over. That is one of the coolest sights I have had while hunting.
My bear was the same way. He was climbing up the side of a tree chewing on a beaver carcuss. My arrow zipped thru him. He flinched a little, backed down the tree and started walking toward the tree I was in. I grabbed another arrow and was getting ready to shoot him again, When he just started getting wobbly and laid down and went to sleep forever. I have that whole experiance on film too. That was a very special hunt.

most run away but i did have a doe when i was younger trot over 10 yards ,look back and just stare at me .kind of surprisedlook as if to say what the heck was that. then got wobly and fell over. there was another doe with her that jumped back but then walk back to where she was. I let her go because i had enough to do gutting her, checking her inand getting her back to the house before my dinner guests came over that night

2 stories, none of them mine...
#1) One of my buddies had a good story about hunting within sight of a Sherton Tara Hotel and watching cars drive bye on the highway....
After he arrowed a 6 pointer, the sucka ran a complete circle around him while in his tree stand and the deer just tipped over,
within 10 feet of his arrow that was stuck in the ground from his pass through shot.
#2) Another buddy went to Pike County for an archery hunt this past year and had the big one come in after painstakingly watch this buck
push others out of the area and never presenting a shot. After 1 1/2 hours the big one passed bye and he let the arrow fly. The buck ran in
the opposite direction about thirty yards away, he couldn't believe he missed, so he knocked another arrow and let it go. Again he couldn't believe
he missed. After the morning hunt was over and lunch break was complete he and the guide to a stroll to check it out, no blood. So he climbed
back in his stand to tell the guide where the deer was and the guide found the first arrow with a pass through shot and lots of blood on the arrow.
Arrow #2 was found and the same thing, lot's of good blood. The buck had two heart shots and ran about 60 yards and he never new.

Haha yeah I have had this happen to me on my very first deer I ever shot! It was a doe, double lung and the 4blade Muzzy 90grn b-head went right between ribs on both sides just barely touching any bone! It never jumped nothing , just walked 30-40 yds and laid down and that was all she wrote!!

Yup, had them hop a step and look around and then go back to feeding. Butt starts to sway from side to side and the just flop over. Had them start to feed again and then just do a wheely and bed down and roll over. Also had them take off like a lightning bolt and run to the next county. Most run but flop within 75 yards or so.
