16 here....Sounds great but it was a sad change ina way....Hunts with the pops declined majorly since i could get out on my own, plus I could no longer partake in all the extra youth hunting weekends. I plan on finding someone young enough this year, and taking them while calling/filming. Just another chance to get out in the woods.

15 with the bow, 16 with the gun.

I believe in Wisconsin it's 14 with hunter safety certificate. It's been a long time since I had to worry!

Not sure, 16 by yourself? I mean great...but I think thats odd how you can be under 18 and with a firearm hunting? doesn't make sense there, hunting alone?

also some ofthese states that have like 6yo shooting a rifle with their dad etc...? I don't really object but do we need laws saying so? I think a 6yo shouldnt be hunting alone with a rifle, but isnt that like when youre a kid and you tag along with dad?

California it's 16 without an adult, Arizona is the same.

New York is 16 or 18 to hunt alone I think. With someone its 12 with a hunters ed course for small game firearm or bow. 14 you can bowhunt big game with a bowhunter course. 16 tohunt big game with firearm.

18 to hunt alone in NY.....
