Is this site a bowtech site??

No one is saying they are not a great bow. (Cept those who don't shoot'em
)
Point is we try'em because of the "nudge". I'd never heard of Bowtech when I started here. And too shoot one when I bought mine I had to travel away from my usual shops and find a deealer. Would I have made the Journey or just bought one off the shelf without these guys praising the name?
My bow is a Bowtech my next bow will most likely be a bowtech... In my area it's still a Unique bow. Not many folks shoot them. We are a VERY HOYT heavy in my area!

Don't know, GR8.
I shot my first one when Rob came down to deer hunt in.....hell that was '06, now. I honestly didn't know what he shot.....and that was over a year before he got on the Bowtech Corp. Staff. I just know he wasn't pushing it on me then (why would he????? ....I asked to shoot it....when I saw ...with the naked eye....how much faster his bow was....and no more noisy).....and he still doesn't.
So.....for me....the presence of the BT corp guys didn't have an influence.

You know what, I am a Mathews man...right now, and I am happy to say that. Been shooting one for 8 years now. I have absolutley no problem with them, I love my bow. But if I were to switch today, I would probablly go to Bowtech. Why you may ask. Here are a couple reasons.
- A couple years ago I was looking to get some crutches camo dipped for my buddy blake...I sent out multiple emails asking for a quote to do this. I got 1 response...count it 1 response. It came from waterdog...owned by bowtech. They offered it for free and wouldn't take my money for nothing. If I remember correctly, those guys even ended up sending Blake a bow a couple years later. That deffinatly swayed me in the direction of Bowtech. They were willing to go out of there way to help somebody that didn't even own one of thier products, but he was a fellow outdoorsman!! Top notch in my book.
- Bowtechspresence makes a huge difference. Not just here either. I know the Illinois Deer and Turkey classic isn't really about the bow vendors...but the are one of the few guys that will come to the show. Sure there are some local dealers there with Mathews, Hoyt, etc... But as a manufacturer, they are one of the few there to represent the product they make. If only they could get that big trailer that is running around at the race tracks there...that would be cool.
- And like Matt said, the staff shooters you see around here...well they more than likely shot something else when they joined. I knew many of these guys before they were staff shooters and before they owned their bowtechs. Though I may have not always agreed with what they have said or done...hands down these guys know bows. I will use poor Rob as an example...over the years, we have had a few altercations...so to say. But I know that he knows bows in general. Even if I am mad at him at the moment, I will still listen to what he says about tuning and shooting.
Whether people like it or not...Bowtech came to play and they are playing hard!! They are doing exactly what they wanted to do...make their presence known!!

But the presence of the bow..sold you. My point. The bows will sell themselves to someone looking for a higher end bow. But this site provides exposure. Hence you meeting Rob, shooting his bow..and then buying what..4 of'em?

I'm more of a lurker than a poster, so from that standpoint I notice there are regular posters and longtime members herewho carry alot of weight when it comes to how others perceive their opinionswhich almost always put bowtech in abetter light thanother comparable bow makers.

Like others have said, at AT it's Martin bows. Here its Bowtech, no big deal IMO. In a few years, it will probably be something else. One thing I will say, I had never heard of Bowtech when I first started here in 2003. I really didn't start seeing Bowtechs in hunters hands in my area until 2005. I shoot a Mathews, but the Bowtechs will definetly be on the list of bows I look at when it comes time to upgrade.

). He sold me on the bow (or it sold itself......semantics) as a regular 'ol guy lovin' his bow.

Bowtech Archery...revolutionizing one forum at a time......

Sorry, could not resist.
I am not feeling as long-winded as Matt today...
...but what he related is spot on. All of us have had a passion for the sport, and for the gear, for long before we ever started shooting for the company. Whether or not this is all part of some slick marketing strategy I cannot say. The folks I have always spoke with/at the company have never pushed anything on me nor have they ever pushed me to say anything. In fact, they would rather hear me b...ch about one of their products...appropriately ofcourse...than have nothing to say at all.

Glad to be here always....

My 2 cents, First I must say I love this site and enjoy reading everyones storys and thoughts, I don't post alot but visit every day and check out about 8 different forums here.
I must say I could care less what everyone shoots, All these bows made today are sweet. In my 30+ years bow hunting I've owned and shot about every brand that's ever been made. With my old bow being 8 years old, I was looking for a new bow in 2005. I travel around and shot all the major players in the bow line up. I bought the bow that best fit me and felt the best.
I do feel that bowtech is one of the best companies out there, every year they seem to engineer something new and better

Look at my post in the review forum and I would have to say yes it is a heavily influenced Bowtech site - I asked about the differences between and Hoyt X* and and Pro elite - the response I got was you should shoot the 101st or 82nd, if I wanted to know about them i would have asked that question- I am happy with Hoyt you are happy with Bowtech - I think a bow is a personal choice - sorta like Mom used to say if he jumps off a bridge you going to jump to-- With all that bowtech is a great bow - not knocking it all - but in my opinion my hoyt is just as good - and I am happy with it
