RE: Is this site a bowtech site??
You know what, I am a Mathews man...right now, and I am happy to say that. Been shooting one for 8 years now. I have absolutley no problem with them, I love my bow. But if I were to switch today, I would probablly go to Bowtech. Why you may ask. Here are a couple reasons.
- A couple years ago I was looking to get some crutches camo dipped for my buddy blake...I sent out multiple emails asking for a quote to do this. I got 1 response...count it 1 response. It came from waterdog...owned by bowtech. They offered it for free and wouldn't take my money for nothing. If I remember correctly, those guys even ended up sending Blake a bow a couple years later. That deffinatly swayed me in the direction of Bowtech. They were willing to go out of there way to help somebody that didn't even own one of thier products, but he was a fellow outdoorsman!! Top notch in my book.
- Bowtechspresence makes a huge difference. Not just here either. I know the Illinois Deer and Turkey classic isn't really about the bow vendors...but the are one of the few guys that will come to the show. Sure there are some local dealers there with Mathews, Hoyt, etc... But as a manufacturer, they are one of the few there to represent the product they make. If only they could get that big trailer that is running around at the race tracks there...that would be cool.
- And like Matt said, the staff shooters you see around here...well they more than likely shot something else when they joined. I knew many of these guys before they were staff shooters and before they owned their bowtechs. Though I may have not always agreed with what they have said or done...hands down these guys know bows. I will use poor Rob as an example...over the years, we have had a few altercations...so to say. But I know that he knows bows in general. Even if I am mad at him at the moment, I will still listen to what he says about tuning and shooting.
Whether people like it or not...Bowtech came to play and they are playing hard!! They are doing exactly what they wanted to do...make their presence known!!
