Diamond Edge is a nice bow. If you are looking for a top of the line short draw bow then the Bowtech Equalizer has no equal.

I do feel bad going to an archery shop shooting all their stuff then turning to ebay to get a better deal though.
Most people that do this end up paying more in the long run. Most pro shops will give free set up and tune, possibley throw in some range time, free tuning for a year, etc... etc... Buy it from Ebay and you will be paying fro every single thing that the pro shop has to do to work on the bow.

Bowtech Equalizer is the undisputed champion of short draw bows.

Got mine The Edge, too. I agree, the accessory package is junk, too much plastic - already broke both the flipper rest and the mounting plate for the sight, and as she's gotten better, the sight has become very useless (which means I get a new SpotHogg and she gets my Apex Nitrus). She's at the indoor range every Saturday since Christmas, and yes it looks like The Liberty is going to be an unexpected upgrade, soon.

Encourage her to try several....then think about it, go back and shoot them again. As things tend to go, let her decide which one you'll write the check for. Just don't skimp on the sight, rest or release.

Oh, and she's beautiful

I agree with Roskoe on the equalizer. She should shoot as many bows as possible, but out of all the short draw/low weight bows, the equalizer remains supreme.
