I'm sure it boils down to supply and demand, but $700seems high for +/-120 acres. My brother and Isplit $800 for 180 acres. We have our own "spots" but we can and will switch it up some depending on who is there and what we are seeing.

It just seems likea lot of limitations for that much money, but if you are hard pressed to find good hunting land then it might be worth checking into.

Good idea Jeff. You never know until you check it out. That fact that they made a 100 inch minimun shows you have some thinkers in the group. 120 acres is going to hold its own group of deer.

I wouldnt have said no without first walking "your little spot" and some of the other woods. 100" minimum ???? On 2200 managed acres, I would believe they could do ALOT better than that. Thats like shooting 1.5 and 2.5 year old bucks.

You should call him back and check it out, also, depends on how much $$
lol good morning.

$700 a year? That would be my cost.
Thats a bargin around here!! You'd be lucky to get a place for twice or even triple that. I know of a place about an hour from my house that is 6000 a year!!!

I'm still going to look at it. This gives you access to the clubhouse......all that jazz. I'm sure i could take guests (control over my area).....but if they can....I'd like to know how many. 1 guy on 120 acres is one thing. 3-4 is another
You want to see COUNTERPRODUCTIVE........you should see our private archery club grounds. LOL

It's archery hunting only , and borders state ground so it is a bit of a sanctuary but some prime days we can have 15-20 people all racing for the best spots w/ climbersnot to mention everyone gets to hang 1 treestand as well preseason.
Total wooded acreage? 100.
A couple good bucks get shot there every year but it's a crap shoot and a half.

I'd kill for 120 decent acres to myself........ Literally...........who do you want me to kill?

DT....did you read the thread?

And PLEASE don't come in here....unless you know....and tell me what a 1.5yr old deer is HERE. I get really tired of this. Show me a NC 1.5 yr old 100" deer. Please. It's a REALLY good 2.5yr old for here....and that deer (100") is most likely a 3.5 yr old. The 8 I shot this year was 4.5 and 103".
