May we all be so lucky to have our children appreciate what we did in life. My condolences to you and your family, and my congratulations and thanks to your father for leading a life to be proud of.

Todd... there is no post more deserving to be in a hunting forum; hunting is for most of us what tied us together with our fathers, what allowed us to observe and learn from them, and to enjoy time well spent with them.

I can't even imagine what it would be like to lose my father yet... and hope it's a long time off in coming still. Thanks for the tribute to a wonderful man; it sounds like he was very deserving.

He is the man that is responsible for showing me......not telling me how to be a man, a father and a husband
A better tribute you could not give.May god bless you and your family during this difficult time.

Sorry for your loss HuntingGus. Dads are cool. My only advice would be to just deal with your emotions daily. If you need to go to your room and have a good cry than do it. If I can do anything at all please shoot me a PM. Chris
