In this picture we are looking at the bottom side of the spine.... the buck was hit justbefore the 1st set of ribson the bottom part of the spine what I believe we are seeing is that the broadhead hit the bottom part of the vertibrae missing the spinal coloum avoiding a paralizing hit... what I find amazing is the amount of bone growth that healed and then grew some more than was there before around the broadhead.
