Ok what i mean by safe lock on is...... I am not a big fan of heights while I am standing in the open with nothing around me!
Do they make a lock on that has a shooting rail(comfort thing) that is suitable for bowhunting? One that does not weigh a ton??
I can hunt out of a climber with a bar around me 25 ft up but if you put me in a open lock on 8 ft off the grond I am freaking!
I found a spot that is too thick, that the deer are tearing through but I need to put a small lock on about 10-15ft up in a small tree just to be able to set up on them. i thought about the pop up blinds but I believe I need to be able to shoot 360degrees to be suitable!!

the lightest one I`ve ever seen is around 24 lbs. you might consider a ladder stand, or sportsman guide has a rail that ataches to the tree, that folds up and down.
