Carter Insatiable release

RE: Carter Insatialble release
Did you have the 3 or 4 finger model? I'm thinking of trying one of those and I'm wondering if i should get the 3 or 4 finger, I know it mostly personal preference but i still like to have someone else opinion.

I also prefer a 3 finger model. It shaves a little weight off. The downside is that you only get 3 fingers to pull the bow back with. But, for me, the upside of keeping my pinky free outweighs that. (Why does it matter? I've found that it's rare to find a release aid with a handle that is "swept" just rightto properly fit my hand. That just leads to lack of comfort and even a tendency to "rock" the release aid back in extreme cases.)

I have the Carter Insatiable 3. I use it for target, 3-D and for hunting. I like it a lot. It forces you to focus, but it does take some getting used to if you are not used to shooting back tension releases.

The 4 finger gives you a bit more ability to fire it by squeezing that outside finger on it rather than wait for the back tension. I think that's a plus for hunting when you need to "make" the shot happen. For targets I just know to relax and not tension that pinky in. But I agree that the 4 finger Insatiable may not feel comfortable in everyone's hand due to the swept nature of it. That's why I'm shooting the Target 4 and the Big Kid 3D (both straight grip). If you get the Ember II it comes with modules to convert it from 2, 3 or 4 finger and reverse it from thumb to ring or 4th finger trigger; you could try them all.
