I myself switched to a carter not long ago.A 2 finger was recommended to me.I was told that the 2 finger allows you to relax your release hand more a 3 or 4 finger. If you can try different release's before hand.I didnt do that and now wish I had of.Remember keep your thumb away from the trigger until you are anchored.Ihad a few mishaps when I first got mine.Good luck.

My Carter Big Kid 3D is a 4 finger. I just got a Carter Ember I which is 2, 3 or 4 and I just can't get used to it as a 2 or 3 so I'm going with 4 on that one too. If you're planning on pulling hunting weights with it I'd go with 3. If you're just drawing target wieghts you can probably do fine with two but it's really weird having those extra fingers hanging out there in space doing nothing. Too bad you can't try before you buy.

even if you get a 3 finger - you don't have to put all 3 fingers on it. i like 2 finger better personally for all draw weights, but i'm used to it. if you're going down the thumb trigger road, you need to learn to hide all the money you may end up spending
ah huh, can i get a witness.
