The first timeI ever sat in it was earlier this year. I sat from 6am to 1pm and never got down.

ORIGINAL: YooperMike I leave mine on the ground, attached to a retractable hoist. Use the hoist for getting the bow, but also for height checking. Have a couple marks on the rope, and when it stops, I'm at 30'. The real question is, what do you do with your bow when you forgot you pull rope? I've ussually used my safety strap since I only secure myself after I get to my hunting height and ready to lock on to the tree. However, a friend of mine pointed out that he grips the bow string in his hand, since he doesn't use the safety harness. I tried that but found the strap easier. |

Sorry to finish off the complete hi-jacking of this thread but:
You guys that have this type of stand that NC posted, do you find that you get picked off more than normal? I mean thats an awful big blob hanging off the side of the tree. It's not even like you can use the trunck as cover you're way out there! |
