My opinion means squat but here it is.........sometimes nothing new needs to be done. This coming from a guy who has never owned a Mathews. I'd say the new Bowtechs are great bows, but I'm sure the the Hoyts and Mathews bows are still great shooters as well. I seriously doubt a 2008 bow is going to upgrade your 3D score or take a bigger buck.

I also notice that each year less and less bow manufacturers are giving us the letoff option. Many bows now only come with 80% letoff.....I hate that.

Kind of reminds me of one of those new 2008 Mathews solocams. About the same degree of technology there!!!!

Funny thing Martin has come up with a lot of neat stuff, they were just not smart enough to market it.

One thing Mathews has done well is market their products

I find it comical that the very people that want to "lay this to rest", come here and complain about the arguing, yet they themselves have to post something else to revive the arguement.... So I would suggest that If its causing you personal injury or hate and discontent to read this discussion...Dont open the thread and post more contraversy to bring it back to life!

Reading this thread makes my ears bleed. Can we lay this to rest now?

WTH are you talking about? All your spinning had made you dizzy. You lost your argument, take it like a man. Who said lay it to rest? And who posted again to continue the debate you lost?

Just like last year they come out with a bow that took like 1/2" off of the limb width and completely change their limb pockets and all that people talked about was price. I guess that's all that they could knock so that's what they always fall back to.
FWIW, I don't see justification from ANY of the bow companies to keep hiking prices. I'm glad I can afford whatever bow I want........having said that, I can easily see how many would feel priced out of the game and that is a shame.
I agree, and like you too I have no problem laying down some BIG bucks for a new bow, but there are a bunch that just can't afford it. To me thats not right either for the simple fact that Bow Hunting seems to be getting to commercialized and is stearing itself and marketing itself to the "Well To Do" group[:@], not your average household income group that most hunters come from. Just my opinion.[:'(]

That would be Rick James that wanted to "lay it to rest". Then we had Illonois Buck Hunter agree with the "lay it to rest" theory, and made his own comments on which was the best bow, which did nothing but contridict his wanting to "lay it to rest"... (you see thats when somebody says they want one thing, then say something that brings the subject up again, preventing the thread to rest.) Then you stuck your nose back into it again blabbering about something, but rather inncoherently I might add. This can be found on page 10.

Is that clear?
