packing your own frozen meat on airline?
well my kansas trip is in two weeks...needless to say i cannot wait. I was wondering though, for all who have brought back there own meat on the airline what process or how did you guys bring it back?
i was thinking of just processing back there myself, freeze, and put in an ice chest with some ice packs?? has anyone done it that way?
any input would be great,
thanks,
josh

Yeah, that will work. Done it several times. Wrap around the cooler a few times with duct tape to keep it shut. You may want to write "frozen meat" on the cooler.

Myself I bought a cooler with a latch on it! Just make sure you put plenty of ice packsin it!!

i once went to cayman island to help a friend work on is jet skis
when we got done we had to ship the core engine to of them back to the state Miami to be exact
it was going to cost him 500 buck i took them on the plane with me delayed my trip through security and i had to go to a room and explain why i had to engines with oil in them and i was all OK i would say you should be OK if you freeze it pack it in ice or even dry ice and make sure they can open it and have tape to reseal it
