Safety Harness in the way?
I was out this evening and had a nice buck come in on me and circle around behind me before coming into range so I had to turn around to get a shot, but I had to loosen my harness from the tree so I could draw andid not get it loose enoughas when I drew the bow my elbow was pressing against the tether strap. Ended up with a clean miss, probably shouldnt have shot but it was my first shot oppurtinity of the season and it was at 10yds. Any advice on where to position the tether or a good brand of harness to use. Thanks

Lower the strap thats around the tree a little bit. That way when you need to turn around the teather doesn't get caugh/wrapped around your release arm, neck, or head, etc. Instead it will be up under you armpit. Understand??? Its kinda hard to explain, but it works for me. By just lowering that strap a little seems to give me much more maneuverability.

Another reason I like using my Tree Saddle. There isn't a shot you can't take from that thing. It's the only "treestand" I've used that allows me to shoot 360 degrees around the tree with nothing in the way.

Once you get in your stand pull your bow in several different position and adj the strap accordingly, but just remember, if you fall will the strap still do it job and not make it hard to get back in your stand. I had a friend that had it too loose and he ended up hanging below hit stand and couldn't get back in. He had to cut the tether and drop to the ground, needless to say it could have come out worst than it did, he got lucky, this time. Just remember safety first, always.

What harness do you use ? I have the seat o the pants. I set mine so that if I have to turn and shoot facing the tree, I can pull downward on the tether, then take my arm and put it behind and over the tether to shoot. When I'm at full draw, the tether is actually hanging down in front of my bow pulling arm. Catch what I'm saying ? Try it, you'll see what I mean.
