broadheads

This topic has been hashed out a ton on this website. If you do a search you can find hundreds of posts relating to this topic. I will be the first one to tell you though that I like NAP spitfires for mechanicals and Slick Tricks for a fixed broadhead with replaceable blades.

I stay away from any "over the top" mechanical with more than a 1.5" cut. I also stay away from any broadhead with a blade thickness of less than .020". I also don't like aluminum ferrules and bleeder blades.
I DO like steel ferrules, thick blades, and blades that lock together inside the ferrule. That's why I shoot slick tricks.
No matter what, they should be razor sharp and fly as accurately as your field points.
