Got an 8 point this morning
Had a real good morning this morning. Seen a real nice Buck around 7:10 that took a path to the left instead of the right, so had no shot. It was quiet for about an hour when i heard deer running through the thick stuff behind me. This time of the year when you hear running deer in the thickets you can just about bet its a buck after does. I turned around and there were 2 bucks, both 8 points all over a group of 3 does. The bigger 8 was far more agressive in the chasing. Ended up pulling him away from the doe with a grunt tube to my surprise. He came charging at me along with the other buck. I let the first one go and took the 2nd. He is my biggest buck so far and my 2nd deer with my bow in the last week. I am not positive, but this may be the same buck i seen first thing this morning. It's possible he circled the woods looking for does and ended up coming back from where i seen him earlier.
