i was on my way home from work and i decided to stop and check out my stand with my buddy. There is a ridge that slopes down into a field and the woods on the otherside of the field is where my stand is. So we got up on top of the ridge and we saw a blotch of brown in the field so i ran back to the truck and got my bow. When i got back down there hte "blotch" rose its head and gave us a view of a nice white rack. I stalked into the wind and got about 30 yards from him. i grunted and he rose up quickly and looked around. when he looked away from me i gave him a taste of my 100 grain muzzy. Double lunger. I was a bit dissapointed when i walked up to him but oh well, more steaks for the freezer.

Congrats,
When you say your dissapointed I assume your referring to the size of the deer or his rack, Don't be. It takes a lot of skill to be able to stalk within bow range of any deer and than be able to deliver a lethal shot. Be proud of that and the deer........dabow

PA only has 1 buck tag a year and i think i could have done better if i was more patient, it only had a14" spreadbut you guys are right .. its a good deer.
