Sunday Morning 10 Point PLUS
Here is a nice buck that I have been watching on my Camtrakkers for 3 years. Though I have seen him several times and passed him for 2 years, this was our first and last encounter this year. It was a 100 yard neck shot with my Blaser Professional in 6.5x55 topped with a Swarovski 3-9. I was shooting handloaded 120 gr Corelokts over 49 grs RL-22 and CCI 250 primers in Lapua brass.
As an added bonus, while my son and I were cleaning my buck, a group of does came across our pasture, and my son shot the largest one. She ran, and I was able to use my Lab pup that I am train to blood trail to find her.
