Thanks, I am proud of it especially the way the hunt went down. I have four deer on the wall already so he will be the European mount I've always wanted. I'm glad to get some meat for the freezer (except my freezer went out while i was hunting and I had to go buy another)[:@]

I got out late, right when the sun was coming up, and the wind was wrong for the stand I was going to hunt. I decided to still hunt around into the wind. I had gotten about 200 yards from my stand in about an hour and a half. A doe came out of the woods at me about 10 yards downwind. She was skittish but never winded me. When she walked off I decided to move downwind of where she crossed just in case a buck was following her. Right when I got where I wanted to go the buck came out in the same spot and spotted me at the same time I saw him at about 10 yards. He took off running and when he cleared a Cedar tree at about 40 yards and I shot. I knew as soon as i shot I lead him too much. I racked another round and shot again, it hit him about 2/3 of the way back through the rib cage and he went about 40 yards and piled up. There was not a drop of blood until he fell and it looked like a bloodbath there. When I dressed him his heart was blown in half.

He scared the bejesus out of me when he came out. I'm sure I did the same to him, and everything happened super fast after that.
