I think i`m just going to stick with the plain old grunt call[&:]

josh the buddy i went hunting with last night just called me at work to tell me that he called in a huge160 class whitetailwith the buck roar, and dropped him within sight, out of the same stand we called the 3 bucks in last night!!! that aint luck thatsspeaking the language!!!!!!!!!!boys

Here's my opinion for the doubters. If you have never heard a buck roar you either hunt an area without many dominant bucks or don't hunt enough.

The call works period. If you don't want to do the roar it's a perfect grunt tube. The call does anything. Why would anyone in their right mind carry 5 calls when you can carry one????

I think you might have better luck with the buck fart than the buck roar. Just get yourself a good reliable grunt tube for half the bucks of these suddenly found new deer vocalizations. Sheeze people.

Everybody has their opinion, but mine is that this call is a very good one. I have called in a lot of bucks with it even in early to mid October. I called in the buck I shot this year with it. He even came off of his does to investigate. Although timing did have a lot to do with it I do not think any other call would have worked as well as the Buck Roar, because I switched from the young buck grunt to the mature buck grunt to get him in while I also added in a little snort wheeze.

Is there any difference between Primos Buck Roar and MAD calls Buck Growl? Or are they basically the same call made by 2 different entities?

Buck Roars can get louder than any other grunt call though without making it sound like a duck. I do not know if I will ever use the full out roar with the call but the snort wheeze on top is handy and no other call has that.
