primos vs. H.S deer can calls
#12
While we are on the topic.....I know one of you said just two turns. Is that muffled or just straight out there as loud as it will go? Another thing....do you back it up with some grunts? I use the Primos can but have yet to see if it works.

I usually cuff my hand over the can as I turn it over if there's a deer somewhat close. It seems to me like they hear it, but can't pin-point the source..then they get really interested.
I usually hit my grunt tube a few times after I hit the can. If a buck hears this, he seems to be more interested to get to the doe before the phantom buck does.

I have snached the attention of several bucks with the Primos can.......usually followed with a few muffeled soft grunts..depending on the situation.
