Default Where to Set My Sight Pins.

I was unable to get the search feature working. Can somewhere steer me in the right direction here. Where can I find an article that discusses what yardages you should set up sight pins. I have a 4 pin sight and I am fairly new to bowhunting. What range increments should I set them to. My sight has gang windage and elevation.

i dk where else to look, but id say a 20, 30 , 40 , 50 pin. thats what i have. well 45 instead of 50 i guess. the 50 yd pin i usually too far for most people hunting but its great for practicing!!! make sure to practice alot w/ the new sight, it takes alot of practice to eliminate problems you hopefully do not end up figuring out in the stand (the one ive run into is guessing range). good luck!

I like 20, 30, and 40. No need for a 50 yard pin for me because I would not ever shoot at a animal that far away. I don't even practice at 50 just because of that reason.

Same for me. I did take a few shots with my new Bowtech at 50 and even at 60, but I'm not comfortable taking a hunting shot out that far just yet. I did set my 50 yard pin andI removed it before hunting season so I would not be tempted to take a 50 yard shot.

I have mine at 20 and 30 as most have said. I only use two pins because I am not going to shoot at a deer over 30 yards away.
