I opted for 51-60. I practice out to 60-70 all summer long and am very confident in my abilities. The farthest I have shot a deer was 48 yards while I was on the ground walking back to the truck. With todays bows with the speed and sound these shots are not a problem. Can the animal move? Sure. They can also move at 20 yards. In my experiance the deer never hear the shot if they are beyond 30 yards thus dont react as they do when closer. So if you dont feel confident in shooting beyond 30 yards, dont scorn those that do.

I don't even practice outside of 35 yards. I have one pin on that sight. If somethings within 35 yards of me.. Its dead. No questions.

Wow, I can't even fathom taking a shot over 50 yards at a live animal. Target is great, but I want the utmost confidence that I will drop that critter and too much can go wrong beyond 40 yards. I personally don't want to take a shot beyond 30 yards. Can I hit something at 50 yards? Heck yeah, but I have a long season ahead and, if I am doing my job right, I should be able to bring them in within 30 yards. JMHO.

This year, ive taken two deer. A doe at 25 yards and a buck at about 45 yards. I practice out to 60 yards every time I practice. That way I feel comfortable with long shots. It also helps you keep good form. Ive taken hogs out to 60 yards, but not a deer. My furthest on a deer has been between 45 to 50. Where I live, we have lots of open land, so many shots will be out a ways.
Now for my trad bows, I only feel comfortable out to 25 yards. I wont even attempt anything beyond 25 yards with a recurve.

Furthest shot I have taken a deer with is 32 yards. I said 31-40, but really anything over 35 has to be a very ideal situation with it being wide open with good light on a perfectly calm deer. And even then it's still a maybe for me.
