I voted 31-40...Honestly most spots I hunt, I usually can't shoot over 35 yds in very many lanes. Most of my shots are in the 10-25 range. 40 yards is a POKE in the woods unless they are pretty open.

While I feel comfortable taking a 35 yard shot(max) at deer, I only have 20-25 yrds at most of my stand locations. I hunt wooded areas, no field edge.

I'll shoot up to 60 with no wind and open lanes, perfect setup and conditions. Most days and most setups 40.

I voted 31-40, but I have to admit that I shot one at 60 earlier this year, but that was across an open field. I had been practicing out to about 70-75 all summer in preparation for a caribou hunt, and felt confident I could make the shot at 60. I won't do it again though!

Shooting an Excalibur at 225#. Confortable out to 40. Could shoot fifty but don't.

40 is max with right conditions, 20 is desired, most sets I can only shoot to 20.

I chose 41-50. I practice with my drenalin out to 65 and shoot consistantly. However we all know that actual deer hunting does not give you the same scenario. Heart pounding, usually 3 second window, and so on. So I feel comfortable out to 50 yards if I absolutely have to. Most of the time, I only plan on up to 35 though when hunting and go from there with the different situations. For instance, mule deer hunting presents a lot of further shots with open terrain.
