I have bought a few things from them in the past. One was a jacket and the other was one of those guide gear mickey type boots. They are so unfortable I bought a different pair of boots. Its like the insole just collapsed in them.I know they do a ton of buisness so they can't be too bad.

I've bought a good bit of stuff from them b/c the USED to be cheaper, but now they aren't any cheaper.

I've always been a Cabelas fan. You CAN NOT beat their customer service.

Got a say.I've read posts about them before and was shocked at the lack of negitive comments. They are loved all over the place. I'd have no problems making a small order at first and go from there. If I needed something I would give them a shot just to experience all the positive waves I hear about.

Look at the shipping cost as sales tax. You buy local you pay sales tax, buy catalog or web you pay shipping, granted a little more in most cases. I pay no sales tax here in De but we have no stores[]but rumor has it Cabelas is coming 3 miles from the house. BTW, I haveplaced little ordersfrom themin the pastwith no problems. As a matter of fact I'm looking at them right now for something.
