Default how do you buy your scent control products

my first and second year i bought the wildlife research kit with the detergent bar soap dryer sheets scent killer spray deoderent and a big bag for your cloths cost 20 bucks at walamrt 30 at gander which i buy mine at walamrt of corse

My first two years the kit made it through guin season

well this year after 6 hunts i am out of the bar soap i have like 2 dryer sheets and am out of scent killer which i spilled some of and about half of the detergent and am out of the deoderent. SO i figured i would buy another kit for 20 bucks not a big deal would rather have it then not even though i hunt the wind most of the time but it works .

should i buy a kit or buy bigger bottels of the stuff by it self which way do you buy it

I always run out. I totaly abuse scent spray. I make my own cover scent and mix it with store bought scent slimination cover scent. Ive already bought and used up 4, 1 gallon jugs of Scent Shield, 3 or 4 smaller bottles of HS scent spray, made 3 gallons of my own, been through 2 bars of soap, 2 packets of drier sheet, 4 cover scent wafer containers(but I put them in the clothes storage pins and in the wash with my regular camo to keep them smelling woodsie), on my second bar of deodorant. Its expensive man. Ive used ALL of that and its not even 2 months into our almost 6month season here in NJ.

DlCKS had the 1 Gallon Scent Shield jugs on sale for $14.99 !!, they are regularly $29.99. I stress scent because its all the deer have if you wear good camo, cover your walking track and stay still. I like having deer right under me. I learn alot. So, I am excessive with scent !! Buying everything individually is more expensive.
Wow! That's a lot.

My clothes are ready to go when I put them on. Only spary down what I feel needs it from touching it. Spray hands and head as well as my mouth. Hawgs vanishing hunter is approved for this. Most are not even approved for skin.

Ibuy the larger jugs of laundry/body soap only beacause the cost per ounce is better. I don't use the bars, really drys me out. So does the anti persperent sticks.

Stock up when it's off season. I also use scent elimination inner and outer clothing.

I need to start buying the 1 gallon jugs of scentkiller. The quart size lasted me 3 weeks (12 hunts). I always run out.

I've found that by using HS shampoo and bodywash and baking soda for the wash I can get by with a new quart jug of scent killer for the season. Having an ozone generator in the closet where I store my hunting clothing was also a very smart purchase.
