Had a pretty good weekend overall. Went to check my cuddebacks Sunday around 11:00 am and put up my new gun stand. Got home and put the cards in the computer. Got a nice 11 pointer on camera. Definitely a Shooter. I forgot to bring my reader back home with me so I will post the pic after lunch time today when I go out and buy another one.

Went out hunting Sunday night and sat on a food plot I planted. The 40 we own is mainly swamp ,which is now really wet in WI since all the rain we got, with a little bit of hardwoods and no food sources around for a long ways. I had a fawn come in a half hour before dark and then right at dark a big buck came to the food plot. Couldn't really tell how big he was for sure but the body was big. Had to weight between 180-200. Saw a glimpse or his horns a little bit and could see he was really thick and close to 17" wide. He was about 18 yards away but it was too dark too shot and I didn't want to take a bad shot. After he started eating a bunch more deer came from the swamp coming to the food plot. I guess they are hitting my food plot pretty hard. I will be out there this weekend again hopefully he comes out before dark this time.
