Bucks are starting to shed

Was up scouting a little bit this evening around a tree I plan on hanging a stand. 3 FRESH rubs greeted me. Not large rubs, but they were madeyesterday morning I'd say. Fresh bark on the ground along with a few strands of antler velvet. It's almost time!

I haven't seen any rubs yet though I should be in the next weekor so. None of the my game cam pics so far have shown any bucks with rubbed antlers.

I wish I could get a pic of a buck shedding his velvet. I have two cams
running so maybe it will be soon. Haven't seen any rubs yet.

Got some trailcam pictures back today. A small 6 pointer was rubbed and polished, no velvet. And a half descent 8 pointer had rubbed enough to get one of his tines out of velvet. Also have another picture of the 8 with a tine out of velvet and the deer on the right seems to be out. These were taken in S.E. PA.
