Default Another Mock Scrape Question

When using the daytime scent dripper over a mock scrape, do you use the same scent in the dripper that you would use on the licking branch? Or do you use something different.

I always thought you put the buck or doe urine in the dripper. It would do its thing at certain times of the day trying to get the buck on your schedule. Think you are supposed to put tarsal gland scent on the licking brach.

I've been wanting to try one, might have to.

I have a scent dripper and it came with active scrape scent. I guess its buck urine. Smells lovelyThey say your are supposed to put orbital gland scent on the licking branch, but its really hard to come by.

Havent made my mock scrape yet, but I will soon.

Thanks guys! This will be my 3rd year using the dripper. In the past, I have used Active Scrape in he dripper, and then put a tarsal gland scent on the licking branch. But the other day, I was reading someplace that you should hang the dripper way up high, above the scrape, and even higher than the licling branch, that way when the dripper drips durring the day, it should hit the branch, and then drip down on to your scrape. This didnt make any sents to me. I would think that you would want to put somekind of urine on the scrape, but its kind of hard for a deer to piss on a licking branch.

Try this scent for the licking branch. It is a gel that you put above the scrape on the licking branch. (Jackie's lures)www.jackiesdeerlures.com
