this is a new area for me, wifes uncle owns 80 acres where I'm at. I'm learning everytime I'm out. They have come out from left and right before. That would've been northwest (left) and Northeast (right) I kicked out some does 2 weeks ago when I was doing a little scouting, that would've been behind my stand. My stand is on higher ground, the does were in some thicker woods behind me. It was 85 degrees out in the middle of the day. I'm facing due north in my stand.

I think that your stand placement seems to be pretty good. If there is a significant elevation difference from your stand and what you describe as a bedding area(where you jumped does), then your scent may not be too much of a problem even if deer are bedded there. It sounds like deer may be in just about any direction from you, but as long as you hunt it with the wind blowing between WNW and NNE it should blow off the hill you are on, and hopefully over the heads of deer that may be bedded behind you.
