The heat here in TX is toasty to say the least.[:@]. Scent Lok kinda makes it feel like Im sitting an oven on bake. May just but the bow back n wait till Nov. or a cool spell one. doesnt do much for the heart wanting to be hunting. Bugs r even laying low.

Maybe it comes with age, but I'm not hunting in NY in 83 degree temps.
Wisdom comes with age as well . Opening day tomorrow, low to mid 90's. Morning hunt only. All I'd be doing in the afternoon and evening would be smacking mosquitoes. Nothing like hand signaling deer all day.

Yep I'm staying out of the woods until Wednesday morning, supposed to be a high of 51 and lows in the high 30's! I'm hoping this is the break in weather we need!!!!! I really hate hunting with heat and mosquitos!

I'm enjoying it. Now if it's still warm in November/December, I'll still be loven it.

Some how I don't think it hurt Matt from Pa. at all. There out there, go get'm.

Season has been in for more than a month and I have gone 3 times. It must be an age thing Dave as it never stopped me from going in my younger years.

Temps here are pushing into the 90's wit high humidity to boot.I went monday morning and even taking my time I was soaking wet with sweat by the time I got hooked into my stand.I'll be waiting for a little cooler temps myself, but if you do get out and hunt with this heatuse it to your advantage and find the local watering hole.Unfortunetly for me I have a creek that runs through my property that the deer also bed around and it is hard to pin them down to one spot with all the options they have for getting to the water.

I feel for you. The average temperature here is 69 for today, but we must have got crapped on because at 3:00 PM it was 94 degrees. Right now the thermometer still reads 81. Monday after the front goes through the highs are supposed to be in the low 70's. I'm readyfor some cooler weather.
