Topo Zone shows some detail but it's iffy at best.

I hate that, my area isn't either and Google is so darn good in areas where it's updated. [&:]

I like what DC did there.

Well the consenus seems to be the long walk DC, Diesel and Buckeye all like the area on the south east corner. If i don't see anything on the way in to change my mind.I'll start there, with the proper conditions.

Thanks guys!

Did you inquire about the hunting pressure when you were granted permission?

Is this the same land we were talking about the other day?

yes same land.. It sounds like no pressure till gun season. Of course it also sounds like the borders are pretty open..so anyone could wander in. And the other place, just up the road, is where the guy said he has already given out too many permissions..So who knows.

And to add to the above statement..It took some huge gazoonga's to get out and knock on that door..It was like a scene from deliverance...and the Huge dogs that came baying at my Blazer almost made me turn around and head out!

Well Saturday high 80's packing a tree stand in!! My plan had been to go in north.. skirt the creek, check the field crops and settle in a tree on the SE corner for the evening hunt.. BOY WAS I WRONG!

Ok guys been on this land. Here is Where I parked and my path starting out north east..

Now walking..NE you can see the field to my left..I am walking a ridge and too myright is basically a cliff..(a land feature that is prominent here!) Where I finally turn right is my first and only chance to do so! It's basically a land bridge left in place for that purpose (I assume) as it falls off to deep water filled crevices on each side. I walk towards the creek...CREEK? what the hell it's 30' wide and awful deep not to mention the banks are shale rock ledges that make this look like the frickin grand canyon!..OK well We expected some high wall..so just follow it down. Ok, so now I'm going down hill with a rock ledge to my right and a cliff to my left that ends at the creek! It's like that land that time forgot!!! I'm really not making any choices on where to walk..I have none. The land dictates where I go..so long story short...better part of 2 hrs..high 80 degree temps carrying treestand..soaking wet..cussing out Buckeye who I know is drinking a frosty beer watching a football game! I head out.

It has possibilities as NO one in their right mind would go in there!!!! But I need to start out South and see if crossing the creek is possible somewhere!!

Find where the deer cross that creek and you will be golden.
