Ok I'm trying to decide where to locate my stand this year please give me your best opinion

Overall- What we have here is a stomping ground the deer bed on the other side of the field and make there way arcoss in the the morning and after noon.

STAND 1- Puts me on a corner and a low lying funnel into the woods. Give me the ability to shoot those deer who choose to crusie the field line and do not go into the very thick wooded edge.

STAND 2- Still on the funnel but just no real good shoots if the deer cruise down. Gives meand a long shoot at one field edge. But gets me on there cruise paths though the woods. which a very plentyfull.

I only have one stand and I usually don't hunt this spot till rut. What do you think?

A stand between the two for optimal coverage? The distance doesn't look to be that significant. IMO.

I'd stay at stand #1 if your going to hunt it at rut since the bucks will be chasing doe's in the fields. Just my 2 cents
