I have 2 stands to put up, 1 for me and 1 for a buddy, I found a couple good places at approx. 100-120 yards apart. Is this to close? Should we only hunt 1 at a time? This is a very heavy cover area, and there is no way I would be able to see him.

Personally I don't think it's too close, but it really has a lot to do with how much faith you have in your buddies hunting skills not to mess you up. To me, it's kinda like hunting public land. You never really know if someone is set up that close to you or not. Sure, the other guy may get the deer first or vice versa, but if you're anything like me and my buddies, I'm sure thats not an issue for ya. All about personal preference. I would rather have an entire area 300-400 yards all to myself, but we all know thats not always possible.

No it's not too close, but pay attention to the wind.

I have 2 stands 60 yards apart that hunt totally different deer and trails! That is when Im aloud to hunt again!

I think it is safe as long as you are bowhunting
