Default Morning interupted by stray dog

Today was opening morning for bow season and wouldn't you know it a stray dog comes running through right under my stand. [:@] What do you guys do when you find stray dogs wondering around your hunting area?

I pay no attention, unless of course, it happened on a regular basis....Then I'm not sure what I'd do....

Your scent is going to get rid of the deer way faster than that of a dog. I usually just watch them go on thier way. Did you use any cover or lure scents by any chance?

If I'm not 100% sure it's a stray I won't shoot it, if I'm 100% sure it's going down, or if it's the landowner's next to me it's going down.

Some people shouldn't have pets.

if I am 100% certain it is a stray....i would treat it the same as a coyote. I have yet to have the chance at a true stray

What's to do but watch them? I see several cats and dogs every season wondering through the woods. Some I know are kept, some may be strays. The deer don't seem particularly annoyed by them, and neither am I.
